Using templates
Start a Power Automate flow from a ready-made PDF Blocks template instead of building it from scratch.
Templates are ready-made Power Automate flows you can adopt in a few clicks. PDF Blocks publishes templates for common document jobs — converting Office files to PDF and watermarking them, protecting a PDF with a password, emailing a stamped document, and more — so you can start from a working flow instead of wiring one from scratch.
Start from a template
In Power Automate, select Templates in the left menu.
Search for PDF Blocks to list every template published by PDF Blocks — for example Convert a Word document in SharePoint to PDF and add a text watermark or Convert an Excel file in SharePoint to PDF and protect with a password.
Select a template to review the flow it creates and the connectors it uses, then choose Continue to open it in the flow designer.
If this is your first PDF Blocks flow, Power Automate asks you to create a connection with your API key. See Getting started for the connection parameters.
Adjust the trigger, action parameters, and outputs to fit your process, then save the flow. Each field maps to the same parameters documented on the action pages.

Open the Templates gallery and search for PDF Blocks to start from a ready-made flow.
Templates use the published PDF Blocks connector. To use actions or parameters that aren’t in the published connector yet, see Use a custom connector.
