# Split a PDF by page count

Split a PDF document into consecutive parts of a fixed number of pages in your Power Automate flow.

Use this action to split a PDF document into consecutive parts of a fixed number of
pages. The last part holds the remaining pages and may be smaller.

## Parameters

<ParamField name="File Content" type="File" required>
  The content of the input PDF document.
</ParamField>

<ParamField name="Page Count" type="Integer Number" required>
  The number of pages in each output PDF document. The last part holds the remaining
  pages and may be smaller. The value is 1 or more.
</ParamField>

## Response

This action returns a list of PDF documents. Add an **Apply to each** over the
**Documents** output to process every part.

  - **File Name** — the name of the PDF document (`00001.pdf`, `00002.pdf`, and so on).
  - **File Content** — the content of the PDF document, which you can use as an input to other actions.
  - **Content Type** — the media type of the document (`application/pdf`).
